Apps I’ve built
Three things I built in evenings and weekends, mostly to answer questions I couldn’t answer by reading about them. All three are real apps that somebody actually uses, which is the only reason they’re worth showing.
- 01
CV Builder
2026A CV editor that keeps content and layout apart: write once, switch between ten print-accurate templates, publish a read-only share link.
Why — I had reformatted the same fourteen years into somebody else’s template three times in a row.
- React
- Vite
- Tailwind
- TipTap
- Firestore
- Firebase Auth
- Gemini
- 02
Practice Time
2026A learning app for a four-year-old. It listens to them say a word, marks it with a multimodal model, and speaks back. Handwriting practice runs the same loop with a canvas.
Why — A weekday routine on a fridge door, and a question I wanted to answer properly: what should a model count as correct?
- React
- Vite
- Gemini 2.5 Flash
- Firebase AI Logic
- MediaRecorder
- ElevenLabs
- Firestore
Sign in to see anything — a signed-out visitor gets the landing page and nothing else.
- 03
Meal Tracker
2026A meal log on React Native where the entry method is a photograph. The model reads the plate and returns a name and an estimate.
Why — Every food app I tried died on its search box. The friction was never the technology.
- React Native
- Expo
- Gemini
- Firestore
- Firebase Auth
Built for a phone with Expo; the link is the web build, so it’s best opened on mobile.
Source for all three is in a private repository. Happy to walk anyone through any of it — abhinav.jiit.2007@gmail.com.
